The Philippine Skull Base Masterclass is a three-day, hands-on cadaveric dissection course designed for surgeons seeking advanced training in open, endoscopic, and combined skull base approaches. As an official AACNS 2026 Pre-Congress Course, the program emphasizes high-fidelity anatomical dissection, close faculty mentorship, and practical surgical application in a state-of-the-art simulation environment.
Participation Options
Course Participant (Dissector)
This option is intended for surgeons who wish to engage in a fully immersive hands-on experience.
- Full three-day cadaveric dissection course
- Two participants per cadaver head
- Dedicated microsurgical and endoscopic dissection station
- Close, rotating faculty supervision and mentorship
- Access to all lectures, discussions, and course materials
This format ensures ample hands-on time and individualized instruction throughout the course.
Observer
The Observer option is suitable for surgeons who wish to participate in the academic and instructional components without performing dissections.
- Access to all lectures and didactic sessions
- Ability to observe live dissections at assigned stations
- Interaction with faculty and participants in the laboratory setting
